HIGH SCHOOL
Penn State’s lone signee from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the 2025 signing cycle, Lily Duffill, arrived in Happy Valley as a dynamic prospect at the catcher position... Hailing from Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Duffill played high school softball at Chartiers Valley High School and helped power that program to a dominant string of results over her high school career... Duffill was a three-time First Team All-State selection as well as a three-time First Team All-Section honoree... Duffill was crowned as the PIAA Class 5A Player of the Year in the 2025 season, winning one of the state’s highest honors as a junior... While competing at Chartiers Valley, Duffill also competed and earned varsity letters in girls tennis... She played travel softball with Indiana Magic Gold under the direction of coach Drew Moore, beginning her stint with the team in 2024... While a part of that organization, Duffill was named a TC Nationals First Team All-Tournament selection.
PERSONAL
Born in the summer of 2008, Lily Duffill is the daughter of Wendi and Jon Duffill… She has two siblings named Nikolas and Aidan… While a student at Chartiers Valley High School, Duffill was an active participant in her school’s Spanish Club, as well as No Place 4 Hate, a student-led organization dedicated to combatting bias and bullying in schools… At Penn State, Duffill plans to study management in the prestigious Smeal College of Business and will look to turn her PSU degree into a career as a collegiate softball coach upon graduation… In her time away from the game, Duffill enjoys playing pickleball with friends.
