Macy Chamberlin Season 2025

HIGH SCHOOL
An impressive two-sport athlete at Evergreen High School, Chamberlin spent her entire career as a pivotal player on both the softball and girls’ basketball teams… Chamberlin arrived in Happy Valley following one of the most dominant senior seasons in the nation, landing NFCA Third Team All-America distinction, as well as the 2024 Johnny Bench Award, recognizing the best catcher in the state of Ohio… She racked up school records in runs, walks, RBI, home runs, triples, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, also booking the state record in Ohio with 61 career home runs from 2021 to 2024… Chamberlin hauled in a litany of high school accolades, including multiple First Team All-State, First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District honors… She was recognized as the Conference Player of the Year in each of her final three season and helped lead Evergreen to a pair of conference titles… Chamberlin handled her travel ball commitments through the Turnin2 program, playing under the direction of coach Shawn Maloney… She participated in national travel schedules in each year of her career since 2018, including the last five seasons with Turnin2… Closed out her travel ball career as a member of the 2024 Allliance Fastpitch All-Star and Tournament Teams as well as the 18U Tier 2 Team… Chamberlin ranked as the No. 22 overall prospect in the 2024 class according to Extra Inning Softball and stands as the No. 15 catcher prospect.

PERSONAL
The youngest child and only daughter of Shane and Keri Chamberlin, Macy was born in the fall of 2005 in Wauseon, Ohio… She has one older brother, named Maddux, who is two years her senior… Her father participated in collegiate athletics at his alma mater, Defiance College, where he played tennis and basketball. An honor roll student in each of her academic years at Evergreen, Chamberlin was also an active participant in her school’s Students Against Destructive Decisions program… She graduated from Evergreen in the spring of 2024 and is currently studying criminology at the Pennsylvania State University… She hopes to continue her softball career as either a player or coach upon graduation but is also interested in potentially becoming a law enforcement officer… In her spare time, Macy enjoys listening to music and hanging out with family and friends.
