2024 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Garnered Academic All-Big Ten recognition in the postseason.
Season: Set career highs in appearances (20), games started (nine), innings pitched (33.1) and wins (three)… Published a 3-4 overall record with a 9.24 ERA… Tallied a single-season career-best 12 strikeouts, surrendering 22 walks in addition.
vs. Arkansas (2/10): Booked the first start of her sophomore season, setting the tone for PSU’s landmark upset of the 16th-ranked Razorbacks with 3.2 innings of work, yielding a pair of earned runs on two hits. vs. Tarleton (3/2): Threw 2.1 innings of no-hit ball with a single strikeout and walk allowed. at Texas State (3/8): Matched her Nittany Lion career high in strikeouts and set her season-high in K’s with four in PSU’s road test against the Bobcats. Indiana (3/24): Tossed 3.0 innings in relief during PSU’s 5-2 win over the Hoosiers, surrendering a single earned run while scattering two hits.
2023 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Awards: Big Ten Freshman of the Week (2/20).
Season: Posted a 1-0 record with her first victory coming in her inaugural collegiate outing…Finished the season with eight strikeouts against five walks…Tossed 15.2 innings in her freshman campaign… Scattered 19 hits and allowed just 12 earned runs on the year…Made seven appearances with two starts.
Bethune Cookman (2/18): Tossed the 10th no-hitter in Penn State program history in her collegiate debut…Struck out four batters in 7.0 innings while leading the Nittany Lions to a 3-0 win… Booked her first collegiate victory in the circle in the process. Iowa (3/26): Made her Big Ten debut against the Hawkeyes, registering 1.0 innings pitched while striking out one batter.

Played high school softball at Liberty High School in Glen Daniel, West Virginia, and Shady Springs High School in Shady Springs, West Virginia... Ranked as the No. 25 pitcher in the 2022 recruiting class by Extra Innings Softball (2021)... Born in the summer of 2004, Paige is the daughter of Alyssa and Wallace Maynard... Has one older sister, named Madison... Enjoys spending time with friends and family... Maynard is currently majoring in Biobehavioral Health in the Penn State College of Health and Human Development... Upon her expected graduation in the spring of 2026, she hopes to turn her degree into a career as a nurse practitioner.
