HIGH SCHOOL
Hailing from the state of Illinois, Ryleigh Kiel arrived in Central Pennsylvania as the lone outfielder in the 2025 signing class… A native of Chatham, Illinois, Kiel played high school softball at Chatham Glenwood High School… She was honored on multiple occasions as one of the top players in the region, landing First Team All-State accolades in each of her last two seasons in addition to Second Team All-State accolades in her freshman campaign... Kiel was an All-Conference honoree in all of her high school season... She also helped propel Glenwood to the Class 3A Illinois State Championship in 2025… In the classroom, she was an Academic All-Conference designee in each of her last four years... Kiel played travel ball with the prestigious Beverly Bandits organization learning under the guidance of coaches David Trackwell and Steve Meredith… She was selected as the No. 5 outfielder in the class of 2026 according to Extra Inning Softball and was tabbed as the No. 24 player overall in the class by Line Drive Media.
PERSONAL
Born in the spring of 2008, Ryleigh Kiel is the only daughter and youngest child of Stacey and Bruce Kiel… She has one older brother, named Rheed… As a student at Chatham Glenwood High School, Kiel was an active participant in the school’s Medical Club and Key Club… While attending Penn State, Kiel plans to major in Communication in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications with a minor in business… At the conclusion of her softball career, Kiel hopes to begin a career in medical device sales, or one day own and operate her own business… In her time away from the field, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, taking her dogs on walks, going shopping, playing pickleball, going fishing and exercising.
