BEFORE PENN STATE
A native of Callahan, Florida, English arrives in Happy Valley following a pair of productive seasons at Santa Fe College, where she established herself as one of the program's top offensive performers… The incoming Nittany Lion took a significant step forward during her sophomore campaign in 2026, batting .378 with 71 hits, 48 RBI, 16 doubles and seven home runs while compiling a .491 on-base percentage and .574 slugging percentage… Over the course of her two-year collegiate career, English produced a .346 batting average with 84 hits, 58 RBI, 19 doubles and eight home runs while drawing 51 walks against just 19 strikeouts in 305 plate appearances… Her contributions to the team were essential to propelling the Saints to an appearance in the 2026 NJCAA DI College World Series… In recognition of her efforts, English was named an All-Citrus Conference North First Team member as well as a Second Team All-FCSAA selection.
HIGH SCHOOL
English attended West Nassau High School, where she established herself as one of the area's premier softball players while earning Athlete of the Year honors in 2024… She garnered four First Team All-First Coast selections, four All-Nassau County honors and two Florida All-State recognitions during her prep career while serving as a three-year team captain… English was a multi-sport athlete for the Warriors, also lettering in volleyball and girls weightlifting… She competed in travel softball with the Santa Fe Inferno under the direction of Jason Nowling from 2021 through 2024, helping lead the program to a JO Cup runner-up finish and a third-place finish at TSCP Nationals.
PERSONAL
English is the daughter of Jennifer and Michael English… While at Penn State, she plans to pursue a degree in organizational leadership through the College of the Liberal Arts... Away from the diamond, English enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach and traveling with family and friends.
