Started 25 of 30 games playing in the infield, as the designated player, pinch running or pinch hitting in her first season donning the Blue and White ...Batted .197 (15-for-76)...Drove in 13 runners...Had a two-run homer and an RBI-single against Seattle University (Feb. 9)...Blasted a solo homer in her lone at bat Against Ohio State (April 23)...Registered four doubles on the season...Posted five RBI during the Michigan State series, (April 4-6)...Recorded a season long seven-game hit streak from Feb. 9 - March 14...Turned five double plays, a team-high, while posting a .987 fielding percentage.
BEFORE PENN STATE
Named First Team All-Foothill League as a junior and senior...Earned Los Angeles Daily News Second Team All-Area accolades for her efforts during her junior and senior seasons...Named the offensive and team MVP her senior year...Led Valencia in home runs and RBI throughout her career with 22 and 75, respectively...As a sophomore, helped lead her team to the CIF Southern Section semifinals and the Michelle Carew Tournament championship before being selected to the Stu Penter Classic All-Tournament Team...Assisted Valencia, coached by Donna Lee, to victory at the 2011 Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz....Selected to the Santa Clarita Valley Signal Second Team in 2011 and 2012...Voted team captain of the Valencia Vikings in 2012 and 2013 and co-captain of the So Cal Choppers travel team...Played alongside current Penn Stater Mollie Sorensen and former Nittany Lion Karlie Habitz with the Choppers...Earned one varsity letter in basketball.
