Season: Booked her most productive collegiate season in her senior campaign, starting and appearing in all 47 games for the Nittany Lions on the left side of the infield…Shattered her career highs in practically every statistical category highlighted by a .338 batting average that ranked second on the roster…Recorded the third-highest OPS on the team with a .338 mark…Led PSU in at-bats (145) and hits (49) while ranking second on the team in doubles (14), home runs (seven), RBI (34), total bases (84) and slugging percentage (.579)…Her 14 doubles tied for the eighth most hit in a single season in Penn State history.
Rankings: Her 0.30 doubles per game ranked as the fifth-most in the Big Ten Conference and sat at 45th in Division I, while her 10 doubles overall ranked as the 10th-most in the B1G and sat inside the top-100 nationally…Her .579 slugging percentage ranked as the 22nd-best mark in the Big Ten.
at Charlotte (2/24): Was a perfect 3-for-3 in the batter’s box with her first double and home run of the season, respectively. vs. Georgia Tech (2/25): Went 2-for-4 at the dish with a season-high quartet of RBI…Blasted her second homer of the year. vs. Delaware (3/4): Booked an impressive 3-for-4 effort offensively, recording three RBI and two runs scored in the contest. at Hampton (3/5): Finished the game with a 3-for-4 line and an RBI. vs. Marist (3/10): Scored a season-high three runs and went 2-for-2 in the box with two walks drawn and a stolen base. vs. UMBC (3/16): Was 3-for-3 yet again, adding a double and RBI to her final stats. vs. Iowa (3/26): Combined for a 3-for-8 effort in the doubleheader highlighted by a two-hit, three-RBI game one…Stole a base and logged a season-high four assists in game two. vs. Ohio State (4/11): Knocked a season-high two doubles in game one of the doubleheader…Went 3-for-6 across both games with two runs scored. vs. Bucknell (4/18): Finished 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. vs. Illinois (4/29): Published a 3-for-6 stat line in the doubleheader highlighted by a home run and three RBI in the first game of the day. Big Ten Tournament vs. Michigan (5/10): Helped guide PSU to its first all-time win over Michigan in postseason competition…Blasted a home run and finished 2-for-3 on the day.
2022 • JUNIOR SEASON

Season: Made 34 appearances and started in 23 games…A third of her total hits being for extra bases…Drove in a career high in runs in the least amount of plate appearances in her career.
vs. North Carolina (3/4): Drove in a run with a double and scored. vs. Pittsburgh (3/16): Hit a pair of doubles in a 3-for-3 outing…Drew a walk…Scored. vs. Indiana (4/16): First career triple. vs. Ohio State (4/26): Two-RBI double the difference in a 4-2 win.
2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Season: Started 38 games and made 39 total appearances, primarily at shortstop...Totaled 15 hits and five RBI...Scored four runs...Had three multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games...Drew eight walks, tied for second most on team.
vs. Purdue (2/27): Started first game of season at third game...Recorded one hit and scored one run. at Nebraska (3/28): Went 2-for-3 at the plate to help lead Nittany Lions to first win of season...Drew one walk. Ohio State (4/3): Went 2-for-3 in game two of Saturday doubleheader...Had RBI-single to get Nittany Lions on the scoreboard...Added double to stat line for first of season. Rutgers (4/9): Singled up the middle to score teammate Mel Coombs to start scoring for Nittany Lions in bottom of first...Drew two walks, including one with the bases loaded to score another run...Scored one run herself. No. 23 Minnesota (5/15): Went 2-for-3 at the plate for third multi-hit game of season...Scored one run. No. 23 Minnesota (5/16): Doubled to center field in bottom of first to bring in two runs, including eventual game-winning run, to help Nittany Lions to first win over ranked opponent since 2017.
2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Awards: Named to Felsberg Invitational All-Tournament Team after totaling seven hits opening weekend.
Season: Played and started all 26 games of shortened season at shortstop…Totaled 23 hits, a team high…Batted in five runs…Scored 11 runs…Had six multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game…Had season-long six-game hit streak, a team high…Season shortened and no championship held due to COVID-19 pandemic.

PERSONAL
Born in the winter of 2000 in South Park, Pennsylvania, Kaitlyn Morrison is the youngest daughter of Tonya and David Morrison... She has one older sister named Taylor who is five years her senior... Her father, David, played baseball for all four years of his collegiate career at Otterbein University... While in high school at South Park, Morrison was a member of the National Honor Society and earned high honors for her academic performance in all four of her years there... Will graduate from Penn State’s College of Education in the spring of 2024 with a degree in middle level education... Morrison is currently fulfilling her student-teaching obligations during the 2024 spring season in Happy Valley.
