Katie (Glusko) Sosnoskie enters her fourth season with the Penn State Women’s Basketball program. To date, her roles include Director Program Development/Business Operations and Special Assistant. Sosnoskie came to Penn State after serving as Business Manager and Girls Head Basketball Coach for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy High School (Boalsburg PA).
Her basketball coaching experiences include Head Coach for Francis Marion University (40W/40L), Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for Gannon University (63W/6L), Graduate Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Concord University (41W/18L), Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy High School (W65/L46).
Her basketball playing experiences include West Virginia University (W72/L53) and State College Area High School (W86/L22). College honors include Big East Academic Honors. High School honors include ASGR Top 100 Ranking. Associated Press Pennsylvania Big School All State (2001, 2002). Multiple national awards.
Katie graduated with honors from Concord University (2008) with a Master’s in Education (Behavior Science); from WVU (2006) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business (Administration); and from State College Area High School in 2002 (Presidential Scholar).
Katie, husband (Merrett), daughter (Olivia), son (Jack) reside in Boalsburg PA.
