Senior Ashley Gin Fong Linker is a two-year letter winner for Penn State. After two solid years in 2005 and 2006, Linker did not see any dual match action last year and will be looking to challenge for a starting spot this season and earn her first trip to nationals.
Lion Career:
2006-07: Linker did not see any dual match action in 2006-07.
2005-06: Linker posted an outstanding 28-8 dual match record and placed fifth at Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. Linker was an alternate to go to nationals. She recorded 8-3, 5-5 and 15-0 records during Penn State's three dual match dates.
2004-05: Linker went 12-0 as a freshman, going undefeated in duals on Dec. 4.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Linker was named Stevenson High School fencing MVP twice and was team captain as a senior. She helped guide her saber squad to the Illinois team saber title. Linker was also a letterwinner in field hockey.
