Senior Sarita Mizin enters her third season on the Penn State fencing team, hoping to see her first duals action in foil this season. Mizin came to Penn State her sophomore year from The Fencing Exchange in Scranton, Pa.
LION CAREER:
2008-09: Mizin did not see any action in foil competition for Penn State this season.
2007-08: Mizin did not compete in any dual matches.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Mizin fenced for coach John Proctor at the Fencing Exchange. She won the 2006 Keystone State Games gold medal in women[apos]s U20 and took the silver in the women[apos]s open division. In 2007, she took the silver again the women[apos]s open division. An outstanding student, Mizin graduated from Abington Heights with honors and won both the Abington Women[apos]s Club and AP scholarships.
