Lion Career:
2011-2012: Ransone competed in 26 rounds during the 2011-12 season, and was second on the team with a 77.8 average with players who competed in 20 or more rounds ... had a career-best score of 68 in the Pinehurst Challenge ... had two top 10 finishes with her best finish coming in the Western Tri-Match where she finished in a tie for fourth.
Summer 2012: Ransone captured the Delaware Women[apos]s Amateur Championship ... qualified for the U.S. Women[apos]s Amateur.
2010-11: Ransone significantly improved in a stellar sophomore year...had a team-best average for the second straight season with a 76.2 through 29 rounds, giving her the sixth-best season average in school history...competed in a career-high 29 rounds...tied a career-best round of 71 twice, once at the Cougar Classic and once at the Nittany Lion Invitational...had four top-10 finishes last season...carded a 219 in the Nittany Lion Invitational, leaving her tied for the third best three-round score all-time at Penn State...took second place at the Nittany Lion Invitational...finished in a tie for fifth place at the Starmount Fall Classic, carding a 147 which is tied for 10th place on Penn State[apos]s all-time list of best scores through two rounds...carded a 306 in the Big Ten Championship, good for a tie for the sixth-best 72 round score in school history.
2009-10: Ransone emerged early as a freshman...she played in all 28 rounds...had a team-best 78.1 average...tied a team season-low round with a 71 at the Nittany Lion Invitational...also carded two rounds of 72, once at the Lady Puerto Rico and once at the Big Ten Championships...became the first Nittany Lion since Evelyn Paik in 2006 to win an individual title at the Nittany Lion Invitational with a three-round score of 218...her score of 218 in the Nittany Lion Invitational became the second-best 54-hole score in team history behind Sara Doell[apos]s 215 in 1999...led the team with the best score in four of the 10 tournaments.
Junior/Amateur Career:
Ransone posted three top-10 finishes during the summer of 2009...shot rounds of 77 and 80 to finish seventh at the PGA Junior Series at Longaberger...followed that up with a sold 81-77-77 showing at the PGA Junior Series at Penn State to take ninth...also took ninth at the AJGA-Sap Junior Open with rounds of 83-73-78.
