2021 - JUNIOR SEASON
Awards: Earned Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors

Season: Competed in eight meets for the Nittany Lions, setting a career high of 9.775 on vault. 

Meet-by-Meet: Maryland (1/17): Opened the season with a 9.520 on vault. Nebraska (1/23): Recorded a 9.550 on vault. At Minnesota (1/30): Posted a 9.500 on vault. At Maryland (2/5): Recorded a career-best 9.775 on vault. Illinois (2/13): Posted a score of 9.550 on vault. Penn State Tri Meet (2/21): Added a 9.575 score on vault. At Big Five Meet (2/27): Posted a 9.475 score on vault. At Ohio State Quad Meet (3/7): Closed out her season with a 9.650 score on vault.


2020 – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Named an Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Season: Did not see any action…The 2020 season was canceled on March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 – FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Did not compete this season.
 
GYMNASTICS BACKGROUND
Competed for United Sports Academy under the direction of Omar Egas, Dima Raynova and Sylvia Topalova...Finished ninth in the all-around and eighth on bars at the 2018 Level 9/10 Pennsylvania State Championships...Placed 12th in the all-around and third on bars and vault at the 2018 Level 9/10 Regionals...Finished ninth in the all-around, second on bars and sixth on vault at the 2017 Level 9/10 Pennsylvania State Championships and finished 11th in the all-around and fifth on vault at the Regionals.

Full name is Donna L. Howell…Daughter of Victor and Maureen Howell…Majoring in communications…Born on February 16, 2001 in New Milford, Pennsylvania.
