Riley and the defensive unit held a .650 shutout percentage, which led the NCAA... helped the defense record 15 shutouts, including 10 straight at one point... also took part in shutting-out nine-of-10 Big Ten squads during the regular season... Penn State[apos]s defense allowed only 11 goals all season, which tied the program[apos]s best mark ever... took 11 shots, including two vs. Minnesota (10/17) and Binghamton (11/12).
Before Penn State From Washingtonville High, she is a 2002 Parade All-American as well as a 2002-03 NSCAA All-American... she helped her team to a Section A Class A New York semifinal... as a junior, Riley helped her team to a New York State Section 9 Championship and a 2002 CCIAA Division Championship... she was a Times Herald Record Soccer All-Star Team midfielder while leading her team to a 21-1 record her junior year... Played her club ball with the World Class Soccer Club where she was teammates with fellow Lion Sheree Gray ... team was state champions, regional semifinalists in 2003 and regional champions in 2004... Riley also excelled on the track, and was part of Washingtonville High[apos]s 4x200 relay team that took second in the state.
