The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Soccer ID Clinic, May 3-4
Grades 8-12

The Penn State Soccer ID Clinic is designed to provide an opportunity for campers to train in the same environment that has shaped Penn State into one of the elite programs in the country. Campers receive intensive technical and tactical training through various methods of challenging competition, functional and positional training. Campers receive a camp shirt. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis from experienced instructors.

Fee: $245 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Meals: NOT provided. Bring your own snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Water will be provided.  Participants will not be supervised during meal breaks and should plan to leave facility during mealtimes if possible.

Accommodations

Soccer Middle School Camp, July 13-15
Grades 5-8

The Penn State Middle School Camp is designed to help individuals and teams enjoy soccer, enhance technical ability and prepare for the demands of the game at the next level. Sessions focus on skill development and tactical training as well as some of the same training methods that our Penn State players do to develop their game. Participants receive top instruction from Penn State staff and players. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis. This camp offers a great balance of individual skills as well as team development and strategies through daily matches. Individuals and teams are welcome to participate.

Fees:
$535 resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$475 day camper (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, no housing)


Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day

 


Soccer Identification Camp, July 17-19
Grades 9-12

The Penn State Soccer Identification Camp is designed to provide an opportunity for campers to train in the same environment that has shaped Penn State into one of the elite programs in the country. Campers receive intensive technical and tactical training through various methods of challenging competition, including nightly full-field matches. An additional area of concentration is the development of positional skills and tactical training through functional groups designed to improve positional awareness and understanding. Participants receive top instruction from Penn State staff and players as well as some of the top college and Olympic Development coaches from across the country. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis from experienced instructors. Individuals and teams are welcome to participate.

Fees:
$535 resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$475 day camper (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Soccer Team Camp, July 17-19
Grades 9-12 (Varsity, junior varsity, club teams)

The Penn State Team Camp is designed to provide varsity high school, junior varsity and/or club teams with the opportunity to train and compete together under the direction and guidance of college and Olympic Development Program coaches. Each team will have tailored tactical training sessions, technical training, and match competition daily. In addition, campers and high school/club coaching staffs gain insight into the daily exercises and methods of the Penn State Women's Soccer program. Coaching instruction for high school/club coaches who attend with their team will be provided. Goalkeepers receive separate, specialized coaching as well as game analysis.

Note: Teams must bring a minimum of 16 players to the camp. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, register each team online.

Coaches: The Head Coach and one chaperone attend the camp at no cost. Additional coaches will be charged for housing and meals.

Team Registration

The coach/team representative must register online, along with a refundable deposit. Upon completion of the camp, the deposit will be refunded.

The coach/team representative will receive a confirmation e-mail.

  • Coach/Team Representative - Provide each camper a personal team link received from SportCampInfo@psu.edu.
  • Extra Coach - An add-on fee must be paid up front by the Coach/Team Rep for each extra coach attending the camp. 
  • Campers - Parents register campers using the personal team link provided by the Coach to ensure that their child is placed on the correct team.

What to Bring for Camp
Participants should bring cleats, shin guards, indoor and outdoor soccer shoes and a soccer ball. Goalkeepers should bring all necessary gear. Shin guards are mandatory for all sessions.  Personal equipment will not be shared.  Also, participants should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
