2005... Played in all 25 games, starting 18 of them... Rettig scored in the first two NCAA games vs. Bucknell (11/11) and No. 21 West Virginia (11/13), helping the Lions tally a team-record 17 goals in NCAA tournament matches in 2005... had four assists including one on a pivotal play in the upset at then-No. 3 UCLA (9/9) that led the Lions to score the lone goal of the match in overtime... also notched assists vs. Indiana (9/23), Purdue (9/25) and Navy (10/30)... took 27 shots... an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
2004... Played in all 23 games, starting 13... Rettig scored twice in 2004, once in the Lions[apos] 8-0 win at Iowa (10/15) and again in the NCAA game vs. Binghamton (11/12)... she also added an assist in the Binghamton game, tallying three points for her offensive efforts, her season high... recorded four assists total: one vs. Iowa, one on the gamewinner vs. Minnesota (10/17), one vs. then-No. 19 Maryland (10/27) and one vs. Binghamton... took 26 shots, including her season-high seven vs. Indiana (11/4)... an Academic All-Big Ten Selection.
2003... Saw action in 11 games and took two shots... notched her first career assist on Heather Tomko[apos]s goal in the Minnesota game (10/17).
Before Penn State Earned four letters in soccer at Lower Dauphin High... Falcons won the Mid Penn Conference title in 2002 and Capital Division crown in 2001... named to the Freshmen to Watch list and first team Big 11 twice by the Harrisburg Patriot News... 2002 Capital Division Player of the Year, conference Player of the Year, NSCAA all-region and first team all-state... two-time Division first team all-star... played for the Lower Dauphin Phoenix club team that won the indoor state title in 2002... member of the EPYSA ODP.

One of four children and two daughters of Jeffrey Rettig and Suzanne Donovan... sister Molly plays soccer for the University of Richmond... also has an older brother, Luke, and younger brother, Mike, is at Penn State...
