Lion Career
2008 ... An NSCAA Second Team All-Great Lakes performer... Soccer Buzz Third Team All-Great Lakes Region... named First Team All-Big Ten... played in all 24 games while starting 23 as a defender... was twice- named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week (10/7 and 10/28) for outstanding performances against Northwestern (10/3), Wisconsin (10/5), Illinois (10/24) and Purdue (10/26)... scored Penn State[apos]s first goal of the Big Ten Tournament in a 2-1 victory over Iowa (11/6)... named team Defensive MVP... an Academic All-Big Ten selection, she was also named to the EPSN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team and earned NSCAA Scholar All-American honors.
2007... Second Team All-Big Ten performer... started in all 24 games for the Nittany Lions... scored two goals and picked up an assist... had first goal of the season against Bucknell (9/19)... netted the game-winner versus Wisconsin (10/5)... assisted on a goal in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Hofstra (11/18)... one of only four players to start every game... member of the stout defense that allowed just 15 goals all season... named the Academic All-Big Ten list.
2006... Started 25 of the 26 games played... scored two goals... tallied the game winner and an assist against Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament (11/3)... scored one goal against Villanova in the second round of the NCAA Tournament (11/12)... helped anchor the defensive unit that only gave up 25 goals on the season... an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
2005... Played in nine games in 2005 on defense... had one shot vs. Illinois (10/7).
Before Penn State
A four-year starter at W.T. Woodson High School, her year team went undefeated and won the state championship during her junior year... her Cavalier teams also won three-straight district titles... she was named all-state her senior year as well as being named W.T. Woodson Female Athlete of the Year... Davis was a two-time first team all-district selection and twice made the second team All-Region squad... she was named captain her senior year... her U-15 club team, the Chantilly/Reston Football Club was Virginia state champs in 2001 and `02, and captured the Region 1 championship and finished as the national runner-up in 2002... was a member of the Olympic Development Program... also competed on the basketball and indoor track teams... a member of the Honor Society, she garnered seven scholar-athlete awards.
