at Duke (8/14): Put her one and only shot past the keeper, marking her first goal of the season to open the scoring for the Nittany Lions… Saint Louis (8/21): Tallied her first multi-goal match of the year, scoring two goals on three shots while commanding the Nittany Lions offensively to a 4-1 victory at Jeffrey Field… West Virginia (8/24): Assisted on Penn State’s second goal, her first assist of the season, and recorded one shot in 65 minutes on the pitch against the Mountaineers… Santa Clara (8/28): Booked a brace against the Broncos in 58 minutes of action, powering the Nittany Lions to a 2-0 victory… at Liberty (9/7): Took five total shots in Lynchburg, with two on frame and one in the back of the net to score the third Nittany Lion goal of the match in her 67 minutes of work… Maryland (9/11): Contributed on every Penn State goal against the Terrapins, scoring one goal on three shots and recording 3 assists in the 4-0 win… Her three assists are tied for the fourth-most assists in a single match in Penn State program history… at Illinois (9/25): Started off the scoring for the Nittany Lions, beating the keeper with one of four shots on frame throughout her 75 minutes of action… at Northwestern (9/28): Contributed an assist on Penn State’s first goal of the night, also recording one shot on goal in 58 minutes during the 2-1 victory in Evanston… at Rutgers (10/4): Took six shots in the match with three on frame in 74 minutes… Oregon (10/12): Assisted on Penn State’s second goal of the contest, in addition to putting one shot on frame against the Ducks.
2024 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Impressed in her first collegiate season with the Blue & White, leading the way as one of PSU’s highest-scoring freshmen in recent years… Appeared in 23 matches over the course of her debut campaign, making one start against West Chester on August 25… Amassed 17 points split between seven goals and a trio of helpers in 2024… Ranked third on the roster behind Kaitlyn MacBean and Jordan Fusco in total scoring, trailing the latter by a single point by season’s end… Attempted 30 total shot attempts and placed 18 of those efforts on target… Totaled 717 minutes of action in the field, highlighted by a 90-minute effort against the Golden Rams on August 25.
Texas Tech (8/15): Made her collegiate debut and immediately etched her name onto the box score, finding the back of the net for her first points and goal scored in the college ranks against the Red Raiders. West Chester (8/25): Appeared in the starting XI for the first time in her career, playing all 90 minutes while mustering the first multi-goal outing of her collegiate career with a pair of scores in the 5-0 Nittany Lion victory. West Virginia (8/29): Delivered the first assist of her collegiate career on a goal scored by MacBean in the 3-1 Penn State thrashing of the border-foe Mountaineers. at Maryland (10/10): Scored her first goal against a Big Ten Conference challenger, as well as her first tally in a road match with a tally against the Terrapins… Mustered a career-high six shots, with five of those attempts going in the book as shots on goal. NCAA Tournament First Round vs. Stony Brook (11/16): Booked a brace in her first national postseason match, booking two goals in a mere 37 minutes of action as PSU pushed past the Seawolves in the NCAA Tournament lid-lifter. NCAA Tournament Third Round vs. Vanderbilt (11/24): Deadlocked the match at one goal apiece to help spark a Nittany Lion comeback, finding the back of the net with a dominant effort from the right edge of the 18… Scored on her only shot attempt of the match.
HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB
An impressive attacking prospect from the state of Connecticut, Kulpa joined the Nittany Lions in the fall of 2024 after her graduation from Cromwell High School… She did not participate in high school soccer due to her club commitments, spending multiple seasons with Oakwood Soccer Club under the direction of coaches Eric Plimpton, Chris Mogavero, Matt Cameron, Todd Sadler, John Natalie and Penn State women’s soccer legend Tiffany Weimer… While in the Oakwood program, Kulpa was a 2022 Youth All-American, was named the MVP of the GA U17 National Championship and led her team to a GA National title in 2022.
PERSONAL
A native of Cromwell, Connecticut, Kulpa is the eldest child of Michael and Laura Kulpa… She has two younger siblings named Brennan and Peyton… While at Cromwell High School, Kulpa was an active member of her school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, serving as a representative on the Student Council while leading the Unified Sports Club… She secured high honors academically during her tenure at Cromwell and graduated in the spring of 2024… While in Happy Valley, Kulpa plans to study business and psychology and plans to graduate in the spring of 2028… She hopes to continue her soccer career professionally upon graduation and will look for a career in the business world when her playing days end… In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, fashion and spending time with friends and family.
