Chris Rose recently finished his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Penn State women's volleyball team. Both seasons resulted in a trip to the NCAA Regional Final.
Rose, a native of State College, returned to Penn State after previously serving on the staffs of Marshall University, Arizona State University, East Carolina University and the University at Buffalo.
At Marshall, Rose's responsibilities included game prep and scouting, and coaching the pin hitters and the block.
Rose served as a student manager at Penn State from 2011-14. He was the head student manager during the Nittany Lions back-to-back National Championships in 2013 and 2014.
During his playing days at State College Area High School, Rose was a member of the 2010 Boys Volleyball State Champions squad.
