The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Online registration ends 2 days prior to the first day of camp, unless the camp is full.

7 Star Camp
June 9
Grades 8-12, girls
 
The 7 Star Camp is a competitive camp designed for players who are looking to play volleyball at the next level. The camp will provide players with position specific instruction as well as team systems and high-level competition. Organized like a college practice, this camp is instructed by our Penn State volleyball coaches in historic Rec Hall. Camp will include training in all skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging), 6v6 play, and the use of cutting-edge video breakdown during sessions. This camp will give you a complete experience that you will remember! The camp will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you have a dream to be a Nittany Lion and earn your own STAR at Penn State, this camp is FOR YOU!
 
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
 
Fee: $125 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING
 
Meal: Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 
Where: Recreation Hall, Main Gym

Recreation Hall (Rec Hall) is located on the corner of Burrowes & Curtin Roads.
 


Elite Camp I: July 15-16
Elite Camp II: July 22-23
Grades 7-12, girls

Elite Camps are designed for advanced middle school and high school players who want an elite experience while improving their individual skills and competing against the best in the country. The camps will include instruction on all skills (passing, attacking, blocking, individual defense, etc.). A portion of each camp will be spent on improving skills and developing advanced techniques. The remainder of the camps will be spent competing in various drills and modified tournament style play.

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Fees:

$320 resident per camp (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$290 day camper per camp (includes instruction, meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Meals: Lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day
Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 


All Skills Camp
July 9
Grades 7-11, girls

The All Skills Camp is designed to provide players with the opportunity to learn volleyball skills in a relaxed and fun environment. The Penn State coaching staff, along with current Penn State women's players, will teach the campers volleyball fundamentals, skills, footwork, exercises, and games. Campers are grouped according to age, ability, experience, maturity, and competitive spirit. Also, because this camp features an excellent coach-to-camper ratio, campers receive supervision, encouragement, and excellent instruction. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Learn and have fun playing with Penn State Women's Volleyball!
 
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
 
Fee: $175 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)

Blue-White Position Camps
July 10 or July 18
Grades 7-12, girls
 
The Blue-White Position Camp will combine our passing/setters camp with the attacking/serving camp. The first half of the camp will allow each player to focus on training in your desired position, learning new techniques, and improving the skills needed to be successful in that position. Each position group will also focus on serving. The remainder of the camp will be spent combining all positions for competitive play (4v4, 5v5 and 6v6). Campers will be grouped according to age and experience. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fee: $175 per camp (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)

Elite Competition Camp
July 26-28
Grades 7-12, girls

Elite Competition Camp is designed for advanced middle school and high school players who want an elite experience while improving their individual skills and competing against the best in the country. The camp will include instruction on all skills (passing, attacking, blocking, individual defense, etc.); however, most of the camp will be spent competing in various drills and modified tournament style play.  This camp features more competition play.  

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Fees:

$420 resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$360 day camper (includes instruction, meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day
Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 


 
High School Team Camp
July 19-21
Grades 9-12 (high school varsity, junior varsity)

This camp provides varsity and junior varsity teams the opportunity to train and compete as a team with the assistance of an outstanding coaching staff. Individual skills will be taught along with team concepts followed by a brief training session and wash drills. The remainder of the camp will be spent competing in a tournament with officials. Teams will have access to outstanding facilities and all the amenities of the Penn State campus. This camp offers an outstanding way to prepare your varsity and junior varsity team for a successful fall season.

Fees:

$400 per person resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$340 per person day camper (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day
Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 
Team Registration
 
Note: Teams must bring a minimum of 8 or up to 14 players. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, register each team online.

Coaches: The Head Coach & one chaperone per team attend the camp at no cost. Additional coaches will be charged for housing and meals. 

The coach/team representative must register online, along with a refundable deposit. Upon completion of the camp, the deposit will be refunded.

The coach/team representative will receive a confirmation e-mail with detailed instructions.

  • Coach/Team Representative - Provide each player and extra coach the team name and password entered during registration.
  • Coach - Register online using the extra coach registration link along with the team name and password.
  • Campers - Parents register campers online using the camper registration link along with the team name and password to ensure that their child is placed on the correct team.

What to Bring for Camp
Campers should bring their own appropriate volleyball gear and shoes/sneakers. Personal equipment will NOT be shared.  Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
