Sydnie Mabry is set to begin her third season as a performance analyst on the Penn State women's volleyball staff. She arrived in Happy Valley after her recent graduation and work with the women's volleyball team at North Carolina State.
During her time as a student at North Carolina State, Mabry served as a technical coordinator and team manager for the women's volleyball team for three seasons. She worked with Data Volley and Volleystation to strengthen the team's statistical reports and analysis.
Mabry gained valuable experience as the executive assistant and assistant coach of the NC KAT Volleyball Club for one season, helping coach and supervise beginning athletes from ages 8-14.
Mabry also continued to play competitive volleyball while as a student, helping the NC State club team finish third at the NCVF National Tournament during her senior season. In addition to playing for the team, she served as the president and treasurer for two years.
A 2022 graduate of North Carolina State, Mabry was a Dean's List student while earning a bachelor's degree in statistics and sport management. She was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and an active member of the Sports Analytics Club and Statistics Club.
