CAREER
Earned one B1G Distinguished Scholar award and two Academic All-Big Ten honors...Played in 250 sets over 81 matches, totaling 421 digs (1.68/set) and 40 aces during her three-year collegiate career...Passed on final year of eligibility to attend dental school after earning a pre-med degree at Penn State.

2023 • JUNIOR SEASON
Awards: Earned a B1G Distinguished Scholar award and a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Team.
 
Season: Played in 52 sets over 19 matches, including three as a starter in the back row...Finished with 110 digs (2.12/set) and five aces...Reached double-digit digs twice, including a season-high 15 in a four-set win over Seton Hall at Rec Hall (9/16).

Western Kentucky (9/1): Contributed seven digs and one ace. at Temple (9/8): Finished with eight digs and one ace. at Louisville (9/10): Tallied nine digs in a three-set match. UMBC (9/15): Totaled 11 digs in a sweep. Seton Hall (9/16): Racked up a season-high 15 digs in a four-set win. at Northwestern (9/24): Finished with nine digs in a sweep. at Minnesota (9/30): Contributed eight digs and an ace in a four-set win over the 13th-ranked Gophers. 
 
2022 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Team.
 
Season: Played in 123 sets over 33 matches…Finished with 245 digs (1.99/set) and 24 aces…Reached double-digit digs 11 times, including a season-high 17 in a three-set match at Nebraska (10/14)…Had at least one ace in 16 matches, including a season-high four in a three-set win over Rutgers (10/23).

Loyola (Md.) (8/27): Contributed 10 digs. vs. Oregon (9/10): Chipped in with nine digs and one ace in a five-set win. Indiana (9/23): Finished with 10 digs. at Nebraska (10/14): Reached a season-high 17 digs in a three-set match. at Maryland (10/21): Totaled 10 digs. Rutgers (10/23): Served for a season-high four aces in a three-set win. Ohio State (10/29): Tallied 14 digs. Maryland (11/2): Finished with 13 digs and one ace. at Purdue (11/12): Finished with 10 digs. at Northwestern (11/23): Contributed 14 digs. Purdue (11/25): Had 10 digs. UCF (12/3): Chipped in with eight digs and one ace in a four-set win in the NCAA Second Round.


2021 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Played in 75 sets across 29 matches, including two starts...Finished with 66 digs and 11 aces...Recorded double-digit digs three times, including a season-high 14 in a 3-2 win at Maryland (9/29).

vs. Georgia Tech (8/27): Made collegiate debut. at UCF (8/28): Contributed two aces. vs. Stanford (9/11): Finished with 11 digs. at West Virginia (9/17): Tallied five digs and one ace. at Maryland (9/29): Made first career start and posted career highs in digs with 14 and aces with three. at Indiana (10/2): Finished with 11 digs. vs. Towson (12/3): Made postseason debut in a 3-1 win in the NCAA First Round.

PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Was ranked as the No. 118 PrepVolleyball.com Senior Ace for 2021...Set school's career record with 1,874 digs and added 187 aces while leading Knoxville Catholic to four district titles, four regional titles and three state runner-up finishes in Tennessee...Started at libero all four years while leading team to a 100-40 record...Racked up awards as a senior, including Tennessee State High School Heisman Volleyball Player of the Year, AVCA Under Armour All-America honorable mention and Knoxville Catholic Female Athlete of the Year...Named Knoxville Volleyball Player of the Year two times, all-state in Tennessee four times, all-region four times and all-district four times...Voted the 2020 Regional MVP, the 2019 Regional Libero of the Year, the 2018 District Libero of the Year and the 2017 District Rookie of the Year...Played eight years for the K2 Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL
Parents are Ted and Kathy Kuerschen...Has three older brothers, Cameron, Chase and Connor...Chase played football at Tulane...Hobbies include baking and traveling.
