Season: Started all 29 matches as CSUB’s lone setter…Became just the seventh Roadrunner in CSUB’s Division I history to tally over 1000 assists in a season (1025)…Was second on the team and ninth in the Big West with 0.93 blocks per set (103 total)...Averaged 1.34 kills per set on .241 hitting and led team with 30 aces…Was the only player in the country to average over 9.00 assists and 1.30 kills per set...Led team with 15 double-doubles.
at Northern Illinois (8/27): Finished with 34 assists, 13 digs and four blocks. vs. Western Illinois (8/28): Hit .643 with nine kills. vs. Utah State (9/10): Totaled a season-high eight blocks and recorded a double-double with 44 assists and 11 digs. at San Francisco (9/11): Posted a double-double with 46 assists and 12 digs in a four-set win. vs. Montana (9/18): Registered a double-double with 31 assists, three aces and 10 digs in a three-set win. at Cal State Fullerton (9/24): Tallied a season-high 29 digs in addition to 47 assists in a four-set match. at Long Beach State (9/25): Finished with seven kills, 28 assists, 17 digs and eight blocks in a four-set win. at UC Davis (10/7): Hit .563 with a season-high 10 kills in a three-set win. at UC Riverside (10/9): Finished with seven kills, 43 assists, 15 digs and eight blocks in a five-set win. UC Irvine (10/22): Recorded a double-double with 46 assists and 14 digs. 2019 • SOPHOMORE SEASON (AT CSU BAKERSFIELD)
Season: Played in all 28 matches and 105 of 114 sets in CSUB’s 6-2 system…finished with 4.73 assists per set…led CSUB with 10 double-doubles and tied for lead with 26 aces…Added 246 digs (2.26 per set).
vs. Canisius (8/31): Recorded first double-double of the season with 22 assists and 11 digs. at Fresno State (9/5): Recorded second-straight double-double with 25 assists, 12 digs and three blocks. vs. Montana State (9/14): Posted a double-double with 18 assists and 10 digs. UC Davis (9/21): Totaled a season-high six aces while also posting a double-double of 20 assists and 14 digs in a four-set win. at Kansas City (9/26): Recorded a double-double with 10 assists and 12 digs. at Chicago State (9/28): Recorded second-straight double-double with 16 assists and 13 digs. at New Mexico State (10/10): Posted a double-double with 27 assists and 11 digs. at UTRGV (10/12): Posted second-straight double-double with 44 assists, 11 digs and four blocks. at California Baptist (10/21): Registered a double-double with 13 assists and 16 digs. 2018 • FRESHMAN SEASON (AT CSU BAKERSFIELD)
Season: Played in all 30 matches and 112 of 122 sets as a freshman in CSUB’s 6-2 system…Finished with 472 assists (4.21 per set)…17 aces and 222 digs (1.98 per set)…Recorded seven double-doubles.
vs. Portland (8/24): Made collegiate debut. at UC Irvine (8/31): Recorded first career double-double with 19 assists and 12 digs. vs. Presbyterian (9/7): Contributed 24 assists, two aces and nine digs. New Mexico State (9/22): Tallied 17 assists, two aces and nine digs. Utah Valley (9/29): Recorded a double-double with 24 assists and 12 digs. California Baptist (10/13): Registered a double-double with 17 assists and a season-high 18 digs. at UT Rio Grande Valley (10/18): Recorded second-straight double-double with 17 assists and 11 digs. Kansas City (10/25): Posted a double-double with 23 assists, two aces and 15 digs. at Chicago State (11/3): Recorded a double-double with 25 assists and 12 digs. Grand Canyon (11/10): Recorded second-straight double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs.
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Named first-team all-state and was the team MVP while leading Bingham High School to a 17-9 record as a senior...Averaged 2.7 kills/set as a junior...Tallied 697 assists (7/3/set), 199 digs, and 81 total blocks as a sophomore...Also played basketball for Bingham...Played four years ar CSU Bakersfield before transferring to Penn State.
PERSONAL
Parents are Doug and Leata Elisaia…Has one older sister, Safua, one older brother, Samuelu, and one younger sister, Colleen...Safua played volleyball at Academy of Art University, while Samuelu played football at Utah, where their father is a strength and conditioning coach...Earned a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from CSU Bakersfield and is now pursuing a graduate certificate in business management foundations.
