Cole Gardner joined the Penn State Applied Health and Performance Science staff in 2022 as an Assistant Director. Cole operates in the AHPS division with the initiative of connecting various areas of sport in the direction of maintaining high performance approach.
Prior to joining Penn State, Cole operated as a Sport Science intern at Florida State University working primarily within football operations. He assisted in the testing, reporting and development of all football athletes. Prior to interning at Florida State, Cole worked a season in a Sport Science / Strength & Conditioning role with the Utah Warriors, apart of the MLR, in Salt Lake City, UT.
Cole graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Management Information Systems & Marketing. He will graduate from Florida State University with a master’s degree in Sport Sciences. Cole is USA Weightlifting (L1) certified.
Cole is a Tampa, FL native who now resides in State College, PA with his dog, Bentley.
