Women's Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision to Washington Freedom

Germantown, Pa. - In their second match-up of the day at the KICKS for Breast Cancer Tournament, Penn State lost a 2-0 decision to the Washington Freedom and Alumna Christie Welsh. Welsh scored twice in the match, once in each half, to secure the Freedom's victory despite strong play from goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher and the Penn State defense.

Penn State had some chances in the game, but couldn't put one into the back of the net.
