University Park, Pa. - Two members of the Penn State men's swimming team were recently featured on the Big Ten Network as part of the series of Big Ten Short Stories. NCAA 200 backstroke champion and current Olympic hopeful Pat Schirk and Olympic qualifier Basil Kaaki were featured. Those respective videos can be seen on the Big Ten Network website by using the links below.
Schirk will be part of the current 18-member Penn State contingent that will swim at U.S. Olympic Trials in four weeks in Omaha, Neb. Kaaki, meanwhile, already qualified to swim for Lebanon in the Olympics will his performance as an international meet in Great Britain during the spring.
