UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - Superheroes, princesses, animals and more filled the Penn State All-Sports Museum Thursday night for its first ever Trick-or-Treat Night with Penn State student-athletes. Cobwebs and jack-o-lanterns lined the walls as children enjoyed face painting, games, pictures with the Nittany Lion and cheerleaders and trick-or-treating with student-athletes from various Penn State teams.
"We really enjoy giving back to the community and seeing the kids in all their fun costumes," said Anna Muzio (Harrisburg, Pa.), a sophomore thrower on the women's track and field team. "Most of all, we're excited to spread our Penn State pride."
Student-athletes representing fencing, wresting, basketball, track and field, golf, soccer, softball, lacrosse and football were on hand to give out candy at the free event.
A grand prize drawing was held, with the winner receiving a signed basketball from the 2009-10 Nittany Lion men's basketball team.
