Riding a four-game winning streak, the Penn State Lady Lions (19-5, 8-2) travel to #20/22 Iowa (17-6, 5-5) Sunday for a 3 p.m. (Eastern) game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game is available of the Penn State Sports Network and on ESPN 1450 locally. The Lady Lions have tallied 19 wins overall and are in first place after 10 Big Ten Conference games for the first time since the 2004-05 season, heading into Sunday's contest.

SCOUTING IOWA: The Hawkeyes are 17-6 overall and 5-5 in Big Ten play. Jaime Printy continues to lead Iowa's offensive charge, averaging 15.4 points and 3.4 assists per game. She is one of the conference's top three-point shooters at a 37.4% clip. Kachine Alexander is a solid all-around player for the Hawkeyes, accounting for 14.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Kamille Wahlin (11.9) and Morgan Johnson (11.3) are also contributing double figures for the Hawkeyes.
ALL-TIME VS. THE HAWKEYES: The Lady Lions are 22-17 all-time against Iowa, including a 68-59 win in the Bryce Jordan Center to start conference play this year. Penn State is 6-11 all-time in Iowa City, but claimed a 68-62 win at Carver-Hawkeye Arena last season to snap a three-game road losing streak to Iowa.
LAST TIME VS. IOWA: Junior guard Zhaque Gray hit a three-pointer to complete a late run in the second half as the Lady Lions rallied from a seven-point deficit with 6:33 remaining to upset No. 14/13 Iowa, 68-59 on Dec. 30. Penn State outscored the Hawkeyes, 20-4, in the final 6:30 to post their first win over a ranked team since defeating No. 20 Michigan State, 68-60, on Jan. 17, 2010. Sophomore guard Alex Bentley led the Lady Lions' offensive charge with 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting, including three three-pointers. Gray was 6-for-12 from the field en route to 14 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists.
LAST TIME OUT: The Lady Lions used another balanced scoring attack and a solid defensive effort to claim an 81-63 win at Michigan Thursday to earn their 19th win of the season. The 19 wins are the most by a Penn State squad since the 2004-05 team had 19 wins. Freshman guard Maggie Lucas led five Lady Lions in double figures with 23 points to go along with four rebounds and a steal. Sophomore guard Alex Bentley tallied 11 points to go along with three rebounds and four assists, while junior Zhaque Gray chipped in 11 points and four assists.
MILESTONE NIGHT FOR TROGELE: Senior Julia Trogele had a milestone night at Michigan Feb. 3. With 10 points and eight rebounds, she passed the 700-point mark and the 600-rebound plateau for her career. She is the 47th player in school history to reach 700 points. Additionally, she is the 19th player in program history to surpass the 600-rebound mark. She becomes the 19th member an elite group that has tallied 700 points and 600 rebounds, joining the likes of Kahadeejah Herbert, Susan Robinson and Andrea Garner.
LUCAS PASSES 400: Rookie guard Maggie Lucas reached the 400-point plateau with a 23-point scoring performance at Michigan Feb. 3. She is the sixth Penn State freshman to score 400 or more points in a season, joining Kelly Mazzante, Susan Robinson, Tyra Grant, Suzie McConnell and Corinne Gulas.
HOT HAND: The Lady Lions shot a scalding 67.9% from the field in the second half of an 81-63 win over Michigan Feb. 3. Penn State finished the game with a 56.5% effort for the game, which is the highest field goal percentage for a Lady Lion team The mark is the highest shooting percentage for a Lady Lions team since knocking down 58.8% (30-for-51) of their shots against Maryland on Dec. 3, 2003.
LUCAS SCALES FRESHMAN SCORING RANKS: Rookie guard Maggie Lucas is climbing the Penn State freshman season scoring charts quickly. She is currently sixth on the list with 400 points and needs 11 points to tie Corinne Gulas for fifth place.
19-WIN MARK: The Lady Lions reached the 19-win mark for the first time since the 2004-05 season with an 81-63 win at Michigan Feb. 3. The win was also Penn State's eighth Big Ten win of the year, which equals its total from last season. The Lions are ensured to finish the season with a winning record for the second-straight season.
LUCAS FOR 20 TALLIES: Freshman guard Maggie Lucas reached the 20-point plateau for the third-straight game and 11th time in her young career with 23 tallies at Michigan on Feb. 3. Lucas has the most 20-point games by a Penn State freshman since Kelly Mazzante, who holds the Penn State freshman season scoring record (529 pts.), had 10 20-point efforts in her rookie season.

The 2011 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Feb. 27 at noon as the Lady Lions take on Northwestern in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network. Last year, the Lady Lions donated more than $80,000 for breast cancer causes. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and J.C.
