Women's Hoops Launches Enhanced LadyLions.com

Oct. 3, 2011

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions are launching a new and improved LadyLions.com to coincide with the start of the 2011-12 season. New features for this season include a team blog, live chats and an "Ask Coach Quese" mailbag.

The team blog has been up and running since August. The blog is regularly updated with entries from Lady Lion basketball players, coaches and staff members. Some early entries include a look at Nikki Greene's hometown of Diboll, Texas, some killer chocolate chip cookies from one Lady Lions' mom and Maggie's secret obsession.

The Lady Lions and the coaching staff will embark on a new way to interact with fans with the addition of a live chat, which will be coming to LadyLions.com on Monday, October 17. The live chats will run from 12:15-1:15 on Mondays throughout the season. The first live chat guest will be head coach Coquese Washington and fans will get their chance to talk with Washington about the 2011-12 season even before the media does. The full guest list will be available on LadyLions.com.

The final new feature on LadyLions.com for the upcoming season is the Ask Coach Quese mailbag, which will debut on Tuesday, October 4. Coach Quese will answer fan questions each Tuesday throughout the season. Questions can me submitted to Coach Quese by emailing them to askcoachquese@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name and hometown when submitting a question.

Lady Lion Basketball season tickets are available by calling 814-867-2557. Season tickets are $117 for adults, $52 for youth and $91 for seniors. PNC Flex Books are available again this year for $99.
