UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's hockey team will return to action Friday, Nov. 9 for the beginning of a two-game series against Atlantic Hockey foe Air Force at the Greenberg Ice Pavilion. Opening faceoff for both games this weekend is set at 7:30 p.m.
The Nittany Lions will enter the weekend at 5-2-0 and winners of four straight games, while Air Force will enter Friday night with a 2-3-3 mark.
PARKING - MAP
Fans attending this weekend's games are able to park in Orange Lots C, F and G. Orange Lot H is also available on the east side of University Drive. Penn State will offer a courtesy shuttle for fans and media members that will originate from Orange H Lot for all home games. Parking for all men's hockey games is free.

GADOWSKY, SERRATORE TO SPEAK AT BRUNCH SATURDAY
Penn State head men's hockey coach Guy Gadowsky and Air Force head coach Frank Serratore will be among the scheduled speakers at a brunch Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Nittany Lion Inn. The brunch is open to the public at a cost of $20. For more information, click here.
STREAKING LIONS
The Nittany Lions will enter the weekend on a four-game win streak. During that stretch, Penn State has outscored its opponents by an 18-7 margin and has held teams to 1-for-20 on the power play.
PLAYING WITH THE LEAD
Penn State has only trailed for a combined 6:17 in its past four games. The Nittany Lions fell behind both Sacred Heart and Buffalo State, 1-0, for 32 seconds and 5:45, respectively, before tallying equalizing goals.
PENALTY KILL SUCCESS
After surrendering six power-play goals in 19 chances to open the season, the Penn State penalty kill has gone 19-for-20 during the last four games. The Nittany Lions went three straight games without allowing a power-play goal (RIT, Army, Sacred Heart) before Buffalo State scored a first-period, power-play marker.
FIRST HOME WIN
Penn State collected its first home win in program history with a 4-2 victory against Buffalo State Nov. 3.
Freshman David Glen extended his point-scoring streak to four games with a pair of goals, while senior Michael Longo and sophomore Tommy Olczyk also scored. Freshman goaltender Matthew Skoffmade 23 saves for his first win.
HOT HANDS
Seventeen players have recorded at least one point during the Nittany Lions' four-game win streak.
Freshmen David Glen (3g, 4a) and Curtis Loik (2g, 2a) are on four-game point-scoring streaks, while junior Nate Jensen(1g, 3a) has tallied at least one point in the past three games.
Senior Michael Longo (2g), junior Michael McDonagh (4a) and sophomore Max Gardiner(1g, 1a) have notched points in two straight games.
LIONS IN THE NATION
As of Nov. 7, freshman David Glen ranks third in the nation among freshmen with 1.29 points per game, while classmate Casey Bailey is tied for 15th (0.86). Sophomore goalie PJ Musicois one of five backstops who has won all his starts (4-0-0). He also ranks 10th in the country in save percentage (.938).
SCOUTING AIR FORCE
Air Force will enter the weekend at 2-3-3 overall after splitting its weekend with Holy Cross. The Falcons already have three ties in eight games after tying a school-record 10 contests in 2011-12.
Junior forward Tony Thomas leads the team with seven points (2g, 5a), while classmate Jason Fabian has notched five goals. Goalie Jason Torf is 2-3-3 with a .920 save percentage and 2.43 goals-against average.
NCAA TOURNAMENT TEAMS
Air Force is one of at least three teams on Penn State's 2012-13 schedule that appeared in the 2012 NCAA tournament.
Head coach Frank Serratore has led the Falcons to five Atlantic Hockey championships and NCAA tournaments in the past six seasons (2007-09, 2011, 2012).
A TRIP ALONG THE ATLANTIC
During the course of the season, Penn State will play eight Atlantic Hockey opponents, the most from any conference. Enter the weekend, the Nittany Lions have garnered a 4-1-0 against AHA foes.
LOOKING AHEAD
Following Saturday night's game, Penn State will have next week off before travelling to Schenectady, N.Y., for a pair of matchups against Union Nov. 24-25.
