BEALLSVILLE, Md. - Penn State will enter the final 18 holes of play at the Georgetown Intercollegiate in third place among a highly competitive field, with a 586 two-round total (295-292).

Sophomore JD Dornes (Lancaster, Pa.) continues to lead the Nittany Lions throughout the fall season, as his even par 142 placed him tied-for-7th overall. Dornes matched his career low single round score in the second round of the day, shooting a 69. Junior Xander McDonald-Smith (Rockaway Park, N.Y.) trails Dornes by 3 strokes, marking a 3-over 145 (71-74) and is tied-for-13th.

Junior Jens Talbert (Little Rock, Ark.) and freshman Christian Elliott (Port Perry, Ontario) are both tied-for-30th on the leader board with tallies of 150 through two rounds. Sophomore Chris Houston (Gilford, N.H.) shot a 158 (76-82) on the day and is tied-for-59th.

UAB tops both the team and individual leader boards going into the final 18 holes of play at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. The team posted an 8-under two-round score of 560, while Paul Dunne and Thomas Sutton hold the first and second place individual positions, respectively.
