UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; September 8, 2014 - A limited number of tickets for Penn State's primetime game with Ohio State will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Coach James Franklin's Nittany Lions will host the Buckeyes on Oct. 25 for an 8 p.m. kick in Beaver Stadium. The game is a Penn State White Out and all Nittany Lion fans are encouraged to wear white to the clash.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, fans can purchase up to 10 tickets for the Ohio State game by clicking here, at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) or by calling 1-800-NITTANY (10 a.m.-5 p.m.).
Season ticket holders and Nittany Lion Club members have had an exclusive opportunity to purchase single game Ohio State tickets since mid-July. The Ohio State game also was among the four games included in Penn State's new partial season ticket plan, with more than 1,100 partial season tickets sold since the program was launched in mid-July.
Penn State and Ohio State will be meeting for the 30th time and have played every season since the Nittany Lions began Big Ten Conference play in 1993. The teams will continue to play annually as Big Ten East Division rivals.
The Nittany Lions moved to 2-0 last Saturday with a 21-3 win over Akron. Penn State begins Big Ten Conference play this Saturday at Rutgers in the opening game of the Big Ten's 119th season. The Penn State-Rutgers game is the earliest Big Ten opener since 1996. Saturday's game will kick at 8 p.m. and air on BTN, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.
Penn State football season, single game and group single game tickets are available. More than 6,000 new season, 1,100 partial season and 55,000 single game tickets have been sold for the 2014 season.
