UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The first senior Q&A from the Penn State women's swimming and diving team comes from Caitlyn Karr (Reading, Pa.). Karr is a captain on the 2014-15 squad and specializes in freestyle events. Check back next week for another Q&A.

Q: Why did you choose Penn State?

A: I chose Penn State because of the great support system and school spirit this school has in and out of the pool.

Q: What is your best memory at Penn State?

A: Beating Michigan in football last year with four overtimes while sitting in the "S" Zone!

Q: What is your major, and what are your plans after college?

A: Psychology with a business option. After school I want to become a certified child life specialist and specifically work with pediatric oncology patients.

Q: What is one word to describe your time at Penn State?

A: Unforgettable.

Q: What was your favorite class/professor at Penn State?

A: Psychology 212 Developmental Psychology with Dr. Hunter.

Q: What is one thing you want to do before you leave State College?

A: Watch each varsity team compete.

Q: What advice do you have for future classes?

A: Have fun, stay focused and make use of your time here at Penn State. Time flies!!!

Q: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream from the Creamery and why?

Death by Chocolate because it is never a disappointment and they have it year-round.
