UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The first senior Q&A from the Penn State men's swimming and diving team comes from Nate Savoy (Reading, Pa.). Savoy is a captain on the 2014-15 squad and specializes in backstroke/IM events. Check back next week for another Q&A.
Q: Why did you choose Penn State?
A: For the combination of academics (engineering) and high level of compassion, as well as the brotherhood I felt here.
Q: What is your best memory at Penn State?
A: So many to choose from. I would say leading the football team out of the tunnel into Beaver Stadium carrying the "One Team" flag.
Q: What is your major?
A: Mechanical engineering.
Q: What is one word to describe your time at Penn State?
A: Priceless.
Q: What was your favorite class at Penn State?
A: Any class with my teammates.
Q: What advice do you have for future classes?
A: Swim hard, but study harder and seize the day.
Q: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream from the Creamery and why?
A: Death by Chocolate, because I don't think you can put any more chocolate into ice cream.
