    SCOUTING THE LIONS
Lindenwood sits second in the CHA after going 1-0-1 against defending conference champions RIT and splitting its series last weekend against Robert Morris. Shara Jasper led the team offensively during the series, posting four helpers. Jasper leads the Lions on the season with five goals, six assists and 11 points, the third-best marks in the CHA in all three categories. In net, Nicole Hensley has started every game, yielding a 3.22 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.

    REILLY ROUNDS UP WEEKLY HONORS
Caitlin Reilly was named the CHA Rookie of the Week for Nov. 17 after she scored two goals including the overtime game-winner in the 3-2 weekend finale win at RIT. She put the Nittany Lions on the board with 2:19 left in the first period after tapping in the 1-0 goal from the top of the slot. Her second goal came three minutes into overtime when her shot from behind the goal line bounced off of Ali Binnington's back and in to the net. She took nine shots in the victory, tied for the season-high by any Nittany Lion. In the first game, she recorded two shots.

    POWERPLAY POWERHOUSE
The Nittany Lions have produced one of the top powerplays in the country, and their CHA series at RIT was no exception. Bella Sutton's tally with the advantage in the 3-2 win over the Tigers helped Penn State to the 13th-best powerplay nationally at 18.0 percent, also topping the CHA.

    MINNETONKA MAGIC
Amy Petersen, Laura Bowman and Hannah Ehresmann have helped lead the Nittany Lions to its best start in program history at 6-4-3. Petersen leads the conference in goals, the 20th best mark in the NCAA, and her eight assists are the second-most in the CHA. Bowman tops the CHA in powerplay points and second in assists. Ehresmann is third in the conference with a 1.78 goals against average and a .943 save percentage.

    WHAT AN HONOR
For their historic start to the season, the Nittany Lions have been rewarded famously with CHA weekly awards. Hannah Ehresmann, Caitlin Reilly both earned Rookie of the Week accolades, with Reilly earning a pair of Rookie of the Week honors, while Laura Bowman was the Player of the Week and Celine Whitlinger garnered a Goaltender of the Week award. The five CHA weekly honors are the most in a season in program history.

    THAT'S A PLUS
Jordin Pardoski has taken her role as team captain to a new level. The junior ranks second in the CHA with an outstanding +7 rating, one point higher than Emily Laurenzi's single season record of +6, set in 2012-13. Pardoski has one assist and four shots on the season.

    NEXT TIME OUT
Penn State travels to Moon Township, Pa., to faceoff against Robert Morris on Dec. 5 and 6. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
