On Saturday, August 15, D.J. Newbill published an open letter to Penn State president Dr. Eric Barron, director of athletics Sandy Barbour and Nittany Lion head coach Patrick Chambers thanking them for giving him "an opportunity to develop and grow as a man, student and athlete at Penn State University."
