Penn State Fencing Team Wraps up Day Three at October North American Cup
Men's fencing finished off the third day of the Olympic trials
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; October 9, 2016 ââ'¬" The Penn State men's fencing team competed on day three at the 2016 North American Cup in Detroit, Michigan.
The men's epee team started the day with sophomore Anton Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas) placing 22nd and freshman Clinton Rodell (Annadeale,Va) tying for 58th. Men's saber competed strong with sophomore Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.) finishing in seventh place, junior Andrew Mackiewicz (Westwood, Mass.) coming in 33rd and sophomore Matthew Lewicki (Oakland, N.J.) finished 47th.
Action at the North American Cup continues tomorrow, Monday, in Detroit.
