Kansa City, Mo. ââ'¬" The Nittany Lions competed strong this weekend at the Junior Olympics.
Freshman Barbara VanBethuysen (Spring, TX) placed 18th in junior's women's epee and sophomore Alissa Hofmann (Cambridge, Mass.) followed in 30th place.
In junior men's foil freshman Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.) came in 35th.
The Lions will be back in action this weekend Saturday, Feb. 25 in Philadelphia, Pa.
