April 19, 2017
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Athletics is reminding fans planning to attend Saturday's Blue-White Game presented by Xfinity of the game day parking changes and details. The culmination of Penn State football's spring practice is set for April 22 at 3 p.m. in Beaver Stadium and is the centerpiece for a weekend of Penn State activities from April 20-23.
Admission will be free for the Blue-White Game. Season ticket holders who also purchased season parking permits for the 2016 season received a white 2017 Blue-White Game parking permit with their 2016 tickets and parking permit sheet last summer. Season ticket holders planning to attend the Blue-White Game are asked to hang their permit as they approach Beaver Stadium.
Previously issued Blue-White Game parking permits that are lost will not be replaced.
As announced last June and again in February, fans attending the Blue-White Game who did not have 2016 season tickets and a season parking permit will be charged for parking for the intrasquad scrimmage. During Blue-White Weekend, there will be a $20 charge (cash only) for game day RVs and cars and a $60 charge (cash only) for the overnight RV lot (for all fans that arrive on Friday with an RV). Buses also will be charged $60 (cash only).
The parking fee will help offset some of the more than $500,000 in expenses Penn State Athletics annually incurs in the operations for the Blue-White Game. More information on parking is outlined below.
In anticipation of another Blue-White Game crowd above 60,000, fans have had the opportunity to purchase Blue-White Game car and RV parking permits in advance since February 21.
Fans Can Purchase Blue-White Parking in Person Until Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Fans can still purchase Blue-White Game car and RV parking permits in person at the Athletic Ticket Office in the Bryce Jordan Center (weekdays, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 21 (cash only).
Season ticket holders with a white permit and patrons with pre-purchased yellow permits will be able to park in the lots closest to Beaver Stadium (refer to the white and yellow lots on the parking map). Fans purchasing parking permits on game day will be parked in lots further from the stadium (refer to the yellow and black hatched lots on the parking map).
Blue-White Game parking - April 21-22, lots open at 8 a.m.

- Patrons who pre-purchased permits will be in the next closest lots;
- Fans purchasing permits on game day will be parked in lots further from the stadium.

The Blue-White Game is the university's unofficial annual spring reunion. During the past 10 years, attendance at the Blue-White Game has surged, with eight estimated crowds of 55,000 or more, including four throngs above 70,000. At least 65,000 fans have attended each of the three Blue-White tilts since James Franklin became the Nittany Lions' head coach in 2014.
