STILLWATER, Okla. - The Nittany Lions turned in two top-three performances early Saturday morning at the Cowboy Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma State. T-No. 9 Penn State women's team finished second while the men's team turned in a third-place performance.

On the women's side, Penn State placed every runner in the top-25 led by Jillian Hunsberger who was the top finisher for the Nittany Lions. The senior from Pittsburgh, Pa. finished the 6K in 21:06.0.

Hunsberger was followed by teammates Alison Willingmyre ((21:09.6), Kathryn Munks (21:10.4), Greta Lindsley (21:11.6), and Danae Rivers (21:41.0) in 12th, 21st, 31st, and 48th-place, respectively.

Also competing for Penn State were Julia Guerra (22:21.9), Noemie Noullet (22:33.4), Grace Trucilla (22:41.5), Victoria Crawford (22:55.6) and Marisa Deichert (24:41.3) in 41st, 44th, 54th, 59th, and 87th-place, respectively.

The Penn State men's team was led by Colin Abert who crossed the tape in 24:48.2. Rounding out the scoring for Penn State were Timothy McGowan (24:59.1), Bobby Hill (25:13.4), John McGowan (25:26.7) and Ben Bumgarner (25:29.1) in 11th, 18th, 25th, and 26th-place, respectively.

Also competing for the men's team were Billy McDevitt (26:05.6), Brady Bobbitt (26:49.7), William Loevner (26:51.5), and Domenic Perretta (27:06.1) in 49th, 72nd, 74th, and 82nd-place, respectively

The Nittany Lions will return to University Park, Pa.Fri., Oct. 13 for the Penn State National Open set to begin at 11 a.m. ET
