UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Senior Abby Detering was named the espnW Player of the Week for her performance this weekend that included her first career triple double.
Against then-No. 1 Stanford, Detering posted a career-high 11 while also dishing out 23 assists and scooping up 10 digs. She added four blocks in the affair as well.
She followed up that performance with a team high 32 assists, adding six digs, against Texas A&M. Following the tournament, Detering was named 'Best Setter.'
This marks the first national weekly honor for Detering of her career.
