UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State track & field teams split action this weekend with a group of athletes heading to the University of Washington's Husky Classic in Seattle, Washington, while the second group of athletes will travel to Geneva, Ohio for the Spire Invitational and a third group will head west for the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa this weekend.

In 2018 Penn State has seen several student-athletes turn in dominating performances on the track and in the field.
Through four meets, Penn State has broken three school records - Men's Weight Throw, Men's Triple Jump and the Women's 800-meters.

LATEST USTFCCCA RANKINGS
The Nittany Lions are slotted at No. 7 spot, up one spot from last week, following a strong showing at the first scored meet of the season in the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup this past weekend in Happy Valley. The men's team won the meet by over 142-points.
Penn State is represented by six marks on the men's side and two on the women's side in the top-10 of Division I rankings, while at the conference level, Penn State has 23 performances on the men's side and 12 on the women's side in the top-10 of the Big Ten Conference.
NEXT TIME OUT
Penn State will return home for the last time this season for the Tune-Up Meet February 17 at Ashenfelter III indoor track before gearing up for the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio February 23-24.
