All-Sports Museum Hosts Third Annual Battle of the Student Sections

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - On Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 5p.m.-8p.m. the Penn State All-Sports Museum will be hosting the Third Annual Battle of the Student Sections in partnership with students of the Recreation, Park Tourism Management 356 class. The event will feature interactive games and activities for visitors to compete as well as a lively competition between student sections with the top scoring team crowned as the champion at the end of the evening. All are encouraged to attend and participate regardless of student section/group affiliation.

"Battle of the Student Sections is a great opportunity for a friendly competition among Penn State students" and "We went last year and had a blast" stated a member of the PSU wRECkingcrew.

The museum is located at the southwest corner of Beaver Stadium opposite the Bryce Jordan Center. A long canopy leading from Curtain Road marks the Museum entrance. Parking is in the adjacent Lot 44. If there are no events at the BJC or surrounding facilities, parking is free after 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the community.

About Recreation, Park and Tourism Management 356
Each semester, RPTM 356 students collaborate with 10 local non-profit organizations, campus organizations and state parks to plan, promote, implement and evaluate special events. Generally free and available for to the public to enjoy, students acquire practical event planning experience, while agencies benefit from a special event.
