Penn State Football Season Tickets Nearly Exhausted

- Penn State football season tickets continue to be in strong demand and it is anticipated season tickets will be exhausted within the next 10 days. A high renewal rate has combined with more than 6,100 new season tickets having been sold for the seven games in Beaver Stadium for the 2018 season presented by PSECU.

Under the direction of fifth-year head coach James Franklin, the Nittany Lions won the 2016 Big Ten Championship and were the 2017 PlayStation Fiesta Bowl Champions. Penn State has earned a combined 22-5 record the past two seasons.

During the 2017 season, Penn State ranked No. 3 nationally in average home attendance. The Nittany Lions' average of 106,707 was their highest since the 2009 campaign and included the largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history, a raucous throng of 110,823 for the 42-13 win over Michigan.

Single-game Tickets Available for Several Groups of Fans
In addition to season tickets, there is an allocation of single-game tickets for each contest that are made available for:

-Nittany Lion Club members to buy single-game tickets;
-group experiences;
-special events (Homecoming);
-public single game sales to provide opportunities for Penn State fans who are unable to attend every home game or purchase a full season ticket.
-fans of the visiting team.

Last fall, Penn State announced the first increase in the price of a season football ticket since 2009. The price of a season ticket rises from $385 to $420 for the upcoming season ($5 per game).

The price of a 2018 student season ticket will rise for the first time since 2009 by $2 per game, or $14 for the season. The price of a student season ticket will increase from $218 to $232 for this year.

The 2018 Penn State student football season ticket sale will begin on Monday, June 18 and run through Friday, June 22. Graduate students open the annual sale on June 18, with the sale continuing through the freshmen ticket sale on June 22.

All student season ticket sales will begin at 7 a.m. ET and close at 2 p.m. Please note that sales may close prior to 2 p.m., if tickets sell out. Eligibility and the daily schedule are posted at Student Central: GoPSUsports.com/studentcentral.

Nittany Lion Club and Public Single Game Sales Set for May and June
Nittany Lion Club members will have an opportunity to purchase single home and road game tickets starting on Tuesday, May 15, with the details to be distributed to NLC members. The times when Nittany Lion Club members can begin their single game purchases will be determined by NLC points.

Additionally, the public single game ticket sale will begin on Tuesday, June 26, two weeks earlier than last year, with the sale details and the games available for purchase to be announced. Fans interested in purchasing single game tickets can review the single game seating chart by price and refer to the FAQ on the variable pricing system at GoPSUsports.com/tickets.

Advance Season and Single Game Parking Prices Unchanged; Day of Game Car Parking to Increase to $60
Penn State Athletics announced last November the prices for car and bus season and advance single game parking will remain the same for the 2018 season. The price for car parking purchased on game day at the stadium lots will rise to $60 (cash only). The advance purchase price is $20, plus a service fee of $2.25.

Fans are encouraged to purchase single game car parking in advance for $20 (plus small service fee) at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-NITTANY (weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Fans can also purchase single game car parking in-person at the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until the day before the game. Single game advance car parking for the 2018 season will be available starting later this spring.

Fans Should Receive Season Ticket and Parking Book by Mid-July
Penn State season ticket holders should receive their 2018 season ticket and parking books by mid-July. Fans who purchase 2018 season parking also will receive a 2019 Blue-White Game parking permit in their 2018 season ticket book.

Penn State returns 13 starters (8 offensive, 3 defensive, 2 specialists) and 26 additional lettermen. The Nittany Lions open the season at Beaver Stadium against Appalachian State September 1.
