Seats for Servicemembers

Seats for Servicemembers began in 2011 when the Penn State Football team played Navy in Beaver Stadium. Penn State supporters were provided with the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for military members and veterans to attend the game for free with their families as a thank you for their service. In 2011, 250 military members were supported. Last year, the program grew to support over 7,500 Servicemembers and their families with complimentary tickets and a pre-game tailgate.

This year, the military appreciation game will take place on October 27th game at Beaver Stadium when the Nittany Lions host Iowa. Prior to the game, all military, including those with tickets to the game, are invited to the Bryce Jordan Center for a complimentary pre-game tailgate.
