CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Penn State women's divers Christina Crowell and Kamryn Umbel shined in a meet during winter training in Coral Springs, Florida.
In a meet organized by West Virginia, Crowell won the 1-meter with a score of 282, while Umbel was just a point shy of second, placing third with a score of 276. Both scores met the NCAA Zone standard.
"Kamryn and Christina dove well today being a last minute addition to a meet at winter training at Coral Springs pool," said diving coach Jeff DiNicola. "They only dove 1-meter but had a great day and put it together to both qualify for zones. I am glad their hard work came together today.
