UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A total of 32 Penn State football alumni are populating the rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions are perennially a top-20 program in producing players in the NFL. Former Penn State wide receivers Chris Godwin and Allen Robinson continued to shine with 100-yard receiving games on Sunday. Godwin posted a career-high 184 yards and two touchdowns for the Buccaneers, while Robinson totaled 131 yards and a touchdown for the Bears.
Godwin's teammates also had noteworthy games, as offensive lineman Donovan Smith made his 75th consecutive start and linebacker Carl Nassib returned from injury and recorded a sack.
Additionally, a pair of recent alums had career firsts, as Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki pulled in his first touchdown catch and Lions cornerback Amani Oruwariye picked off a familiar foe for his first career interception.

He currently ranks first in the NFL with nine receiving touchdowns and third with 1,071 receiving yards, earning his first career 1,000-yard season with five games remaining. His 1,071 yards in 11 games are just 2 yards shy of the Tampa Bay record set by Mike Evans last season (1,073).
