-This is the first time in 30 years that Penn State met Wake Forest and only their third meeting ever. 
-The game at University Park was the first time the two institutions have played at a campus site with the previous two meetings taking place at neutral sites (1960, Charlotte, N.C.; 1989: Tuscon, Ariz).
-Penn State takes a 2-1 advantage in the series.
-Penn State remains undefeated in regular-season games when wearing its black and pink (10-0) uniforms.
-Myreon Jones, Myles Dread, Jamari Wheeler, Lamar Stevens, and Mike Watkins have started games so far this season.
-Penn State improves its record to 10-9 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and has won two in a row (2018: No. 13 Virginia Tech, W 63-62 & 2019: Wake Forest, W 76-54).
-Wake Forest's 23 points in the first half marked the lowest total by a Penn State opponent in its Big Ten/ACC Challenge games.

-Penn State held Wake Forest to 54 points, tying the lowest opponent total in a Big Ten/ACC Challenge game (Nov. 30, 2011 vs. Boston College). 
-The 22-point margin of victory is the largest in Penn State's Big Ten/ACC Challenge games. The previous best was 10 points in the first game vs. Clemson (85-75 on Dec. 1, 1999)
The Nittany Lions move to 7-1 after their win against Wake Forest. 
-Penn State has won all its home games (5-0) so far this season and now owns a home win streak of nine games. The Nittany Lions have won 11-straight nonconference home games dating back to Dec. 30, 2017.
-For the second-straight game, the Nittany Lions never trailed in the contest. 
-Penn State had a total of 12 steals against Wake Forest, most in its Big Ten/ACC Challenge game history.

Nittany Lions Individual Notes

-Mike Watkins surpassed a career milestone with 800 rebounds (805) and tied his season high with 16. His 16 rebounds ties Kenny Inge (NC State, 2000) for the most in Penn State's previous Big Ten/ACC Challenge games. This is the most by a Penn State player after he had 14 at NC State in 2018.
-Watkins stands nine rebounds away from claiming the No. 3 all-time career rebounds spot.
-Lamar Stevens needs only three more blocks for 100 in his Penn State career. 
--Myreon Jones was the leading scorer with a career-best 22 points vs. Wake Forest for his second career game with 20 or more points, both occurring this season.
