Fencing heads to Queens for fourth Dual Meet of the Season

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The men's and women's fencing teams will head to Queens, N.Y. this Saturday, January 18, for their fourth dual meet series of the season, hosted by St. John's University. Both teams will go to battle against Columbia, Harvard, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and St. John's.
 
Fencing for the women will be:
 
Foil (14-3 team dual record) - Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Ximena Iriarte-Estrada (Huixquilucan, Mexico), Alissa Gozali (Singapore), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Jade Rowland (Princeton Junction, N.J.), and Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.).
 
Epee (12-5 team dual record) - Catherine Cao (South Setauket, N.Y.), Julia Duffy (Stony Brook, N.Y.), Nirali Igoe (Washington, D.C.), Halah Keramane (Alpharetta, Ga.), Evelyn Pham (Houston, Texas), Axelle Wasiak (Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium), and Barbara VanBenthuysen (Spring, Texas).
 
Saber (15-2 team dual record) - Carlee Beaty (State College, Pa.), Pauline Conscience (Paris, France), Sara Cunningham (Dectur, Ga.), Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.), and Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio).
 
Fencing for the men will be:
 
Foil (9-7 team dual record) - Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Andrew Grass (Burke, Va.), Shane Iverson(Basking Ridge, N.J.), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.), Nicholas Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Felipe Rosario (Maplewood, N.J.).
 
Epee (11-5 team dual record) - Tylen Butler (Charlotte, N.C.), Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Alex Konert (Bristol, R.I.), Jonathan Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas), Devin Tafoya (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), and Demetri Zacharakis (Houston, Texas).
 
Saber (12-4 team dual record) - Michal Wisniowski (Clark, N.J.), Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.), Ethan Mullennix (San Francisco, Calif.), Maksymilian Mateja (Arlington Heights, Ill.), and Chase Pflueger (Highlands Ranch, Colo.).
 
Following this Saturday's action, the Nittany Lions will have a brief time off from competition, and will return to action on February 9th in Durham, North Carolina for a dual meet series hosted by Duke University.
