Fencing Heads to Temple for Final Dual Series of Regular Season

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will head to Philadelphia, Pa. this Sunday, Feb. 23, to compete in their final dual series of the season. Heading into this weekend, the men are ranked fourth nationally and the women ranked sixth.
 
Both teams will go to battle against St. John's, Princeton, Penn, and Johns Hopkins. Additionally, the men will take on Stevens while the women will take on Temple.  Head Coach Wes Glon is anticipating a strong finish to the season before the teams take part in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals in March.
 
Fencing for the men will be (Team record 16-10):
 
Foil - Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Andrew Grass (Burke, Va.), Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.), Nicholas Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Felipe Rosario (Maplewood, N.J.).
 
Epee - Tylen Butler (Charlotte, N.C.), Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Jonathan Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas), and Demetri Zacharakis (Houston, Texas).
 
Saber - Michal Wisniowski (Clark, N.J.), Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.), Ethan Mullennix (San Francisco, Calif.), Samuel Cohen (Kensington, Md.) and Chase Pflueger (Highlands Ranch, Colo.).
 
Fencing for the women will be (Team record 19-8):
 
Foil - Jasmine Bajaj (Commack, N.Y.), Ximena Iriarte-Estrada (Huixquilucan, Mexico), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Jade Rowland (Princeton Junction, N.J.), and Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.).
 
Epee - Catherine Cao (South Setauket, N.Y.), Julia Duffy (Stony Brook, N.Y.), Nirali Igoe (Washington, D.C.), Halah Keramane (Alpharetta, Ga.), Medora McCarthy (Los Altos Hills, Calif.), Evelyn Pham (Houston, Texas) and Axelle Wasiak (Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium).
 
Saber - Carlee Beaty (State College, Pa.), Pauline Conscience (Paris, France), Sara Cunningham (Dectur, Ga.), Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.), and Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio).
