Fencing heads to Duke for fifth Dual Series

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- After two weekends off from competition the Penn State Nittany Lion fencing teams will travel south to Durham, N.C., this weekend for the Duke Invitational. This two-day event will start with the men's team competing on Saturday, Feb. 8 and will conclude with the women's team fencing on Sunday, Feb. 9.
 
Competition will begin at 8 a.m. each day. Penn State will be competing against Brandeis, Duke, Notre Dame, North Carolina, and MIT.
 
Fencing for the men will be (Team record 13-8):
 
Foil - Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Andrew Grass (Burke, Va.), Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.), Nicholas Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Felipe Rosario (Maplewood, N.J.).
 
Epee - Tylen Butler (Charlotte, N.C.), Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Jonathan Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas), Devin Tafoya (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), and Demetri Zacharakis(Houston, Texas).
 
Saber - Michal Wisniowski (Clark, N.J.), Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.), Ethan Mullennix (San Francisco, Calif.), Maksymilian Mateja (Arlington Heights, Ill.), Samuel Cohen (Kensington, Md.) and Chase Pflueger (Highlands Ranch, Colo.).

The Duke matches will be available via ACC Network Extra and can be viewed using WatchESPN.com or via the ESPN mobile app. Due to the advent of the new ACC Network these matches are likely only able to be seen for viewers whose TV provider has the ACC Network as a part of their TV package.
